The majority of products we supply will be delivered direct to your door by the manufacturer.

This reduces the risk of transit damage to an absolute minimum. It also reduces costs and allows us to pass these cost savings on to our customers. Many products will ship on a free next day service whilst others may take 2/3 working days. Working days are Monday through to Friday and exclude the weekend. Goods ordered on a Friday before 1 pm and offered on a next day service will usually be delivered on the following Monday (subject to stock being available). If you have an urgent need for your order, please give us a call and we will always try to help. We will make every effort to ensure your order is delivered as quickly as possible. Please note we are unable to specify a time of delivery during the day unless this option is paid for during the ordering process.

Please note there are a small number of remote locations for which our carrier cannot fulfil a 24hr delivery promise… should your address fall within this category you will be notified immediately with an estimated arrival time for your order. Some larger products may be subject to a higher Scottish Highlands & Islands surcharge… if this is the case, you will be contacted by one of our sales team for carriage surcharge confirmation.

We offer you Royal Mail delivery on smaller items in 2-3 days

We will notify you immediately if any items are out of stock with an estimated dispatch date when stock arrives… or a full refund should you wish to cancel your order.

Some products offered on our website are ‘Non-Stocked’ or ‘built to order’ items and will be dispatched to you direct from the manufacturer… it may not always be possible for the manufacturer to ship these items on a ‘next day’ service, and in such circumstances, an estimated delivery time will be shown in the products description. We will contact you when we receive your order with any updated delivery times on these products … please call us on 01189 713999 for further information.

Made to order products such as Mobile Warehouse Steps, Spiral stairs and some scaffold towers are not available on a next day service and you will be contacted by our sales team with an estimated delivery date for these items.

When your order is delivered

When your goods arrive it is important that you check that the items are in good condition and the quantity of items received corresponds to the quantity you are signing for. In the unlikely event that your goods have been damaged in transit, you must refuse the delivery and contact our sales team immediately in order that we may dispatch a replacement quickly and minimize your inconvenience.

Please inform us promptly of any shortages so that we may take the matter up with our couriers and trace the missing items. We must emphasize the importance of checking your goods thoroughly at the time of delivery as you are signing for them in good condition. Please make sure they are.

Signing “Unchecked”, “Not Checked” or similar is not acceptable.

Please be aware

Once a specific delivery day has been agreed, we will make every reasonable endeavor to ensure your goods arrive on that day. However, we shall not be held liable for any consequential losses, damages or expenses incurred by you the purchaser or any third party, arising directly or indirectly out of late or non delivery of your order or part thereof. We respectfully advise that you should not arrange for contractors, fitters or workmen who require the items in your order, to attend site before your order has arrived and you have checked it thoroughly.

Title and risk in the goods shall pass to you the purchaser upon delivery and receipt by our courier of a signed delivery note.

Please understand that items ordered and delivered, but refused at the point of delivery for reasons such as ” too heavy”, ” too long”, ” too short” or “not suitable” will only be credited when the item is returned to us by our courier in an undamaged & saleable condition. The cost of the goods will then be credited in full, less the cost of return carriage to our warehouse. Please therefore, check all sizes, weights & descriptions carefully prior to ordering.
